parachute == AWESOME

on a better note, PARACHUTE’S ALBUM IS AMAZING!!!!

love drunk == makes me want to drink.

so i just saw that my last post was about boys like girls’ new album . it came out today so of course after class i went to buy it andddd i can honestly say i’m disappointed . it doesn’t really even compare to their first cd . one of the things i like so much about them is their metaphors and analogies, but “love drunk” ? i mean, really?? and they even have a song featuring taylor swift but the title is “two is better than one” and it totally just reminds me of the spice girls song, two become one. it’s not even good!! i am SO bummed !!! i’ve been looking forward to this album for months and it was actually a pretty big let down . all of the song titles are like, actually lame .. “the shot heard around the world”, “chemicals collide” (totally reminds me of the aly and aj song ”chemicals react”), “heart heart heartbreak” … arg . i was just really expecting a lot more from them - and maybe that makes it partially my fault, i was just expecting too much but … i really don’t think that is the case. so i really have to give ”love drunk” two thumbs down . :(

and then, we LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE’D our suburban UP A HILL!

so last night we went out to eat for father’s day at the altoona hotel. it was a really nice dinner… we were there for about 2 hours (7:30 - 9:30). i drove mom, dad, liv and myself there in the suburban. well, when we go out to the car to leave, i put the key in the ignition and turn - but i get nothing. mom and dad are like, oh, you’ve gotta move the shifter around a little bit. still - nothing. so then mom tries - nothing. so then dad tries - nothing. well while dad is trying this out, he’s actually moving the shifter out of park and he puts it in reverse and lets the suburban go backwards down a hill but little did we know, there was a small honda car behind us and so now the suburban’s bumper is actually on the honda’s bumper. so dad moves the shifter out of reverse and we LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE the suburban 3 feet up a hill!!!!!!! mom and i pushed from the back, and dad and liv pushed from the front doors. it was HILARIOUS. so then we’re all stuck waiting in the car because we called zach to come pick us up but it turns out he was at jordan’s which would’ve taken him a half an hour to get to us. we just called him back and told him not to worry about it, that we would call a cab. so then the cab comes and olivia is hunched over in the back of the seat cause she’s mortified at the fact that we’re riding in an altoona cab and mom is making chit-chat with the cabbie who is driving for the first time tonight in 5 years and he’s telling us about how some guy already passed out in the back of his cab at 6:30 that night.

to top the night off, we got home and i peed in our bathroom with no walls which has a view of the entire 1st floor of the house.

my dog is sick. it makes me sad. : ( poor emmie
